Leslie mentions "growing 'disconsent' among Republicans," re: Bush's
Iraq policy.

'disconsent'

he's showing clips with Bob Franken commenting

nothing horrible yet, but you KNOW they'll have at least one pug on to disembowel the speech

they already had that horsefaced jackweed woman from the AEI on immediately afterward

then, Franken went back to Leslie saying: Bush, I mean, Wolf!

they're apparently DISCOMBOBULATED by the excellence of the speech

although, Franken just said the debates are "do or die" for Kerry

BLOW ME!

4. Leslie Wolf Blitzer
some say that's his real first name

it works for me

Dana Bash was just nailing Bush with some words of PUGS!

I was surprised

now Leslie is talking about Graham, lindsey, and Hagel wondering WTF is going on in Iraq

now, he talks about Allawi's presence in the middle of a presidential election

can't believe he said that

is he getting schizo, or what?

3. At the Dem convention Repub support for W was at ~89%
The latest polls I have seen (that break that down) have Repub support for W at ~64%. Not that anyone is reporting on that.

•Republicans responded more than Democrats. After the convention, the number of Republicans who said they were more enthusiastic than usual about voting spiked by 11 percentage points, to 62%. For Democrats the increase was 5 points, to 73%). Political observers couldn't remember another time when a convention excited more loyalists in the other party than in its own.

CNN's very own LESLIE BLITZER.

You know that they are going to try to keep him (Kerry) down, put him down, whatever it takes and however they must do it. you know that they will not allow such FLOWING EXCELLENCE OF SPEECH, COHERENCE AND GOOD JUDGEMENT TO FLOW BY AND EXPOSE THE INCOHERENT, TONGUE TIED, POOR JUDGMENT BUSH BOY WHO SITS AT THE THRONE OF POWER.

DARYN POOPS KAGAN ALSO ALREADY STARTED IT.

Blitzer is being amazingly measured, though

he's got Gen Joulwan on....former NATO commander, talking about what has to be done, in realistic terms

very surprised at his professionalism, a word I've NEVER used in the same sentence with him, other than the world's OLDEST...haaaaaaaaa
