Al Franken helped his 5' 10" brother get down to 109 pounds to get out of the draft.

to do this, they played sqash all the time, his brother wearing some kind of rubber suit to make him sweat excessively

his brother used to collapse regularly

to get him back up and play, Al would bend down and yell

"CHARLEY's Coming for ya!"

I laughed hard at that

that's what it was like back then, youngsters

get used to it yourselves, if Bush wins

He was really heavy to begin with, and it didn't take too much more
pizza to win him a 4F.

2. I heard a story of a guy downing sweets non-stop for the day before
so he had diabetic like conditions for the physical.
