Rasmussen, Data for California and New York
In the weekly update for California, Kerry holds a 55%-39% lead.

In the same survey, Bush has narrowed the New York lead by 14 points over the last poll conducted August 29. The September 19 numbers are Kerry 49%-44% in New York.

2. I don't like these numbers either
but I just can't post the numbers I like.

Remember, NYC hosted that convention, so perhaps that's the bounce we're seeing. Next week we'll get another update. I'm hoping these numbers are an aberration, and Kerry will return to a double digit lead in NY.

3. Im in NY and I will
crumple if he gets NY, that's the most DEM state there is for heavens sake. If these numbers are right (Ramsmussen is accurate, correct?) I am beyond shocked right now. Im trying to stay calm here, but the whole freakin map is turning red, wtf is going on? Is this the set up before the theft??

If this is accurate Kerry has GOT to come out like a man possessed. The letters on CNN this morning said to a person, he is not fiery enough, doesnt make an impression, blah blah.

Im trying not to gloom and doom here, but this has my stomach in knots.

Having their convention in NYC, and having Pataki speak, did NOT give them that large a bounce in the state.

And even if it did, it will soon fade.

Think of all the kind things said of NY during that convention by the GOP...ass-kissing if you will.

So they got a little bump-back to the real world now. The GOP shoot themselves in the foot every day, in every way with regards to ALL city-dwellers.

Not to worry.

Let's hope the Rethugs waste money and resources here.

Many people in NYC don't have landlines--only cell phones. Guess how those people are voting.
