Kerry signs/buttons sightings on TV drama!

A new show on the WB - "Jack and Bobby" aired last night 9PM EST.
The second episode in the series definitely set the trend, They were having a House Party and kept showing Kerry Edwards buttons on the attendees. Later in the episode, there was a campus speech and in the crowd were several Kerry Edwards signs.
It appears to me the producers are definitely sending a message.

2. I alerted DU to this show, to no response -- "Jack & Bobby" is smart...

and above a lot of peoples' heads, so won't last long unless it somehow finds an audience. Also, it's on WB, where one doesn't think to look for high-end fare. (WB is taking a risk with it, departing from their usual type of programming, and spending heavily for promotion.) Among the creators are a "West Wing" veteran and a former Clinton staffer, who had the idea from Clinton's talking about his childhood.

This is a family drama about a single mother, raising two sons, one of whom will be President in 2040. It's about greatness. Political junkies should enjoy it.

The show airs Sunday nights. Tune in DUers, and spread the word!

3. People thought the same of West Wing also and look where it

has gone.
So maybe it will pick up. It is a good time to start a show like that, in the middle of a heated campaign season.
My family likes it a lot, and for us to even find it is amazing at our house. If it is not on HGTV, PBS, or the big 3 we never seem to watch.

and they had a DVD included that has Jack and Bobby emblazoned on it

I am very old-fashioned.....Saw the Jack and
Bobby episode last night (and think it is a great show) and while I was happy to see the Kerry buttons, was sad they coupled that with pot-smoking. I am afraid that plays into the sterotype of very liberal, pot-smoking, doping, commie Democrats to middle America.
