A team of reporters led by Sara Rimer in The New York Times has produced an interesting portrait of George W. Bush as a young escape artist, performing his young and irresponsible disappearance tricks in the early 70s. Lots of duty dodging, slacking off and generally having a fine ole time on the boss’ dime are retraced in that article. But the really interesting bit comes at the very end of that article.
