Time to PROVE we can FIX what "Dubya" screwed up!!!
My suggestions:

* make food, water, shelter and clothing war-torn Iraq (per our choice) a first priority
* hire Iraqis at a living wage in their circumstances
* get Halliburton OUT!!!!
* bring all adversaries to the table (after all, we are "delivering" some sort of democracy)
* re-characterize American presence as a "humanitarian" effort rather than a military "occupation"
* by peforming the foregoing actions, the rest of the world will believe in our "good will" and be passionate about building a world community

1. I'm hoping those last two points will come naturally
Hopefully the world will see that this was Cheney's war, this was Bush's war, NOT America's war. Kerry winning sends the world a message that Americans do NOT stand behind Bush. Since Kerry is making it a priority to rejoin the community of nations, success should be on our side to achieve the notion of "we're sorry this asshole who stole our election broke this, but we got rid of him and now we want to fix this for the sake of the Iraqi people. Help us please, here you can even have a stake in the rebuilding now that we've kicked Cheneyburton out."

2. we can fix it
first and foremost, recognize. these are #1 TRIBAL people. #2 families with history centuries old.
the planet is shrinking. technology brings us all together with information and communication. allow these people representation with out judgement. allow the citizens to be heard. listen when they say leave if they do. offer retribution for our horrific shock and awe. allow them to charge our "leaders" with war crimes and hold them accountable.
just a thought.

3. I could go along with that
Only require that if they want to charge our leaders they have to televise it cause I refuse to miss a second of that.
