1. Latest psyops is that this is all caused by "Foreign Fighters"
Meanwhile, bush and 50% of the population acts like nothing is wrong.

There is no question that a mix of attacks, kidnappings, bombings, etc, has had a major effect of blocking foreign investment, leading firms to drop out of aid projects, restricting activity to 'safe' or 'safer' areas, and disrupting any smooth flow of activity while forcing massive expenditures of security," he said.

Everything is going to be just fine, just wait till January. I promise.......

2. from bushdraft.com
"the nation must be prepared to conduct a draft"

--Lewis C. Brodsky, director of public and congressional affairs with the Selective Service System

Many people have been wondering if our President has secret plans to reinstate the draft. This website will provide absolute proof that Bush is making plans to reinstate the draft by the middle of 2005.

In the last few months Bush has launched a recruiting drive for people to work on the draft boards around the country, the DefendAmerica government site posted an advert looking for volunteers, but when someone brought this to the attention of the press it was promptly removed, fueling rumours about the possibility of a draft.

There are also CURRENTLY bills in the Senate and in the house that, if passed, will make military service a requirement for all men, women (including college students) between the age of 18 and 25

7. Thanks. I will remove it when 'justice' is served
and * is permanently back at the ranch.

My neighbor is a die-hard repub AND works for Halliburton AND has an 18 year-old son. I copied the entire draft article and put it in his mailbox last night!

15. how to get a photo from a website onto your harddrive?
Edited on Sun Sep-19-04 01:50 AM by TaleWgnDg
tis easy . . .

if you've got InternetExplorer:

1. place your cursor over the photo,
2. single right click,
3. hit "save picture as,"
4. enter the harddrive file name where you want to save the photo, and
5. hit "save"

okay? now, the photo is saved onto your own computer's harddrive in the file that you've specified.

uuuummmmm, if you've got a browser other than Microsoft's Internet Explorer, then it's been too long for me to remember the steps necessary to transfer the photo from a website onto your harddrive.

enjoy.

9. Dick Armitage says...
that this is an attempt to influence our election.

I kid you not.

http://www.reuters.com/newsArticle.jhtml?type=topNews&storyID=6265597

"U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage accused Iraqi insurgents on Friday of engaging in a cynical bid to undermine President Bush ahead of the U.S. presidential election in November.
"They're trying to influence the election against Mr. Bush," he said during a tour of eastern and central Europe.

"It's quite obvious that they would like to raise the cost to President Bush. I think this is their cynical effort to do that and to somehow influence our elections, and they will fail," Armitage told Reuters."

Edit: I'm going to start a thread linking to that article, because it desperately needs to be seen, and I don't think you can start one yet.

Props to you for pointing it out!
