Bush lover’s who tear down signs.

I say to what are you so afraid of? If Bush is so great and everyone loves him so much, why do you need down sign, which you say is useless?

Those who do that are unprincipled, dishonest, cowards.

6. Simple Solution
If someone steals a Kerry/ Edwards sign, put up two to replace the one stolen. If 2 go missing, you put up four, and so on and so on. Pretty soon someone's going to see its a hopeless cause tearing down signs.

7. Great response from someone on a local mailing list
I don't have permission to quote, but he sent a letter to the editor that he cc'ed to our local anti-Bush mailing list.

He said that when he first realized that his "BUSH MUST GO!" sign had been stolen, he thought that it must've been taken by a Bush supporter. He immediately realized, however, that a Bush supporter would be too patriotic an American to violate the First Amendment. Therefore, he could only assume that the thief was someone who agreed so passionately that he wanted to post the sign in his own yard but that he did not know where to get one himself. To prevent a similar event with his new sign, he asked the newspaper to publish his letter, which included information on how to get one's very own "BUSH MUST GO!" sign.

I doubt they published it. They're a Republican rag (I don't read it, so that's why I don't know if they did for certain).

8. If the first is stolen, rub the 2nd with poison ivy leaves (wearing
rubber gloves of course) If they take the second what a nasty surprise they will have a few days later.

9. Someone tried to steal our sign in broad daylight yesterday
After our first sign was stolen less than 48 hours after we put it out, we put another sign out, but now we bring it in at night.

Yesterday afternoon, my son was sitting on our front porch with a friend. They saw a car drive up to our house on the wrong side of the road, and stop right in front of our Kerry Edwards yard sign. A woman opened the car door and started toward the sign. Then she looked up and noticed my son and his friend. She jumped back in the car and the guy driving threw the car into reverse and they backed up the road on the wrong side of the road. If they had gone forward, my son would have been able to see their license plate number.

I have noticed other Kerry signs which have "disappeared", but all of the Bush Cheney signs have strangely not been stolen.
