TRUTH: the GOP Protestors are really the SORE LOSERS of the last election....
The media really needs to put who these folks are in context (which most won't).
They aren't mad about anything other than the fact that they lost the last election.
It doesn't take a master degree to figure that out.
SO why doesn't the media just say that?
8 months out, after an actual contentious stolen election,
most losers of the '00 election weren't out making a spectacle of themselves!

And that's the TRUTH!

5. YEP. Losers' gone Wild!
Bet if I get an anti-Obama sign and go stand on the corner,
I get on the TeeVee.

It's a sore-loser's win; the best that they can do till the next election.
The media giving them the spotlight only shows who side the media is on;
and it ain't ours.

3. Agree. There's a very strong sense that they are pouting like
2-year olds who didn't get their way, and they're going to knock stuff over just to let the whole wide world see how disappointed they are.

"The Reagan Revolution" appears to have eluded them. It hasn't kicked in yet that far-Right hate-hosts like Hannity and Beck and Limbaugh mixed in with far-Right fundie nutbags just isn't a good combination.

Rec'd.

and shit....cause that's a goddamn lie.

Sore Losers lying ain't exactly the type of people I want to be associated with.

At least Gore voters waited till Bush allowed us to get attacked on 9/11,
and then still supported his sorry ass till he took us to a wrong war,
and spent a trillion dollars in so doing.

If you want to compare Gore Voters to Election '08 Sore Losers, thant Gore Losers are a class act,
and the Sore '08 losers are low life scum.

and went to war with the wrong country against millions of voices protesting,
and yet, the fucked up corporate media forgot to televise it,
and yet I have to see every single Republican crazy asshole on my Television 24/7
who, BTW, are calling themselves "Conservatives" right now,
cause they even know how fucked up Republicans are!

But this ain't no game. It is how it happened.

As for nuts on both sides.......The Democratic Party may have some nuts in it,
but the Republican party is actual ran by nuts and unpatriotic assholes.

And oh.....Republicans are sore ass losers who don't believe in democracy.
They lost, but believe that they should run this country still,
after 8 years of running it into the ground.

15. Actually, most of the nuts are pretty much in one bowl. There's Beck.
Edited on Mon Sep-14-09 08:40 PM by saltpoint
There's Limbaugh. There's Rick Santorum and Michele Bachmann and Sarah Palin and John Boehner and Mitch McConnell and Sean Hannity and Ann Coulter and Bobby Jindal and little Lindsay Graham and Tom "High School Lesbianism Runs Rampant" Coburn and Jim Inhofe and Jim DeMint and Donald Wildmon and Bill O'Reilly, etc.

A nut for every taste, all in one big red rightwing bowl.

Dig in!

Heed the warning memo prior to the attacks instead of picking his nose and planning his revenge attack on Iraq?

28. Yes, it does......
it takes a lying administration and a public influencing corporate media (who's only interest are keeping their taxes low and no regulation).

That's all it takes to whip up a nation into supporting a war; a bunch of lies.....
Documented lies at that! they were lies then, and they are lies now.

Now the RW have the fucked up nerves to call out this President (since February); when all of this President has done is get us out of the fucked up shit that Bush and his accomplices got us into.

23. Election 2000 was a disputed election, in Florida, very likely a statistical tie.
Edited on Mon Sep-14-09 08:55 PM by saltpoint
In Florida by one count fewer than 500 votes separated the two major candidates, and because the electoral college is as it is, that meant that some number under 500 in a nation of 300 million people was the differential arithmetic of U.S. political history.

The Supreme Court, ultimately, selected Bush over Gore.

The winner of the popular vote, however, was Al Gore.

The election of 2008 was nothing whatsoever like that. There were no resemblences, no procedural similarities, nothing akin in letter or spirit to election 2000.

McCain/Palin lost by some 10 million votes to Obama/Biden.

Make sandwiches for 500 people. Then make sandwiches for 10 million people.

Pay for both projects.

Then tell us that the OP has missed the mark. Her point was clear and is an opinion closer to a finding than a casual observation, as the facts of the 2008 election support her viewpoint.

27. If you're talking about Ron Paul, he got his ass kicked,
and properly so.

The Republican Party holds caucuses and primaries same as the Democratic Party and the Republican Party doomed itself by fielding roughly a dozen candidates, all of them cretinous and regressed, all of them unpalatable to the electorate, and all of them losers across the board.

McCain was hapless, attempting to run a pre-Eisenhower Republican model of flag-waving and war medals. In the late months of 07 turning toward the 08 primaries one journalist described McCain as "a biplane ablaze, spiralling downward." Note the chronology of the airplane.

And as antiquated and hapless and blunted as he was, Romney couldn't beat him and Huckabee couldn't beat him, Mitt with money and Huckabee with preacherly charm.

So the Pukes ordered up their own fate. It's too damn bad they didn't like the result.

And again, the differential was to the tune of 10 million votes. Your earlier analogy with 2000 is bogus.

32. These crowds are all very similar in their demographics and their views...
(far-right and far-white)... whether they're teabaggers, birthers, deathers, shouters, healthers, or twelvers. You get the feeling that you've seen them before, and that's because you have. They're the Palin rally people from the '08 presidential campaign.
