There it is again: Wolf says "some people" say the DNC did it!
There is a vicious lie growing like slow poison among the Slutthroats.

RNC wants people to think Kerry campaign deliberately planted the forgeries with CBS, implying criminal behavior. This ridiculous rumor can only be squashed by Dan Rather and CBS.

You see how they get us? The opportunities to discredit dems in this fantasy universe is appalling.

Wake me up when its over.

1. Honestly, I think few people even care about this..

..anymore. ONce a story gets so convoluted, I think people stop paying attention because they're used to hearing spin about everything under the sun.

I suspect, most people find it very believable that Bush got help from Poppy to get in the TANG, and he screwed around while he was there. That's just common sense at this point.

4. I know it's moot at this point
after all the hoopla over these real/fake memos, but I can't believe more people aren't livid over the fact that Bush* has been living a lie. Where's HIS integrity? OTOH, I think Kerry needs to state a solid case regarding this war and stick with it. That's where my focus is. We cannot afford this war * started; I can't even believe one man and co. has/had us all hoodwinked, starting a flippin' war! And the cost IMO is not worth it.

7. I absolutely agree with you.
Most people feel that there has always been something fishy about George Bush's missing records. The big question is not why are documents surfacing which state things about Bush that people will verify, but why the absence of those documents didn't become an issue in the 2000 election. Who's sorry now, Media? You owe one for Democracy to answer the REAL unsanswered question.

2. Rangle (sp?) is doing a pretty good job of actually making the content
of the 60 minutes piece the issue, not the documents. He got in a lot of good slams on Shrub.

3. The chair that Cox is sitting on

must be a charred ruin after the pack of lies he just told. Wolfie's staff must be putting out Cox's pants and the chair with the studio fire extinguisher during the commercial.

5. Some people say Wolf Blitzer is an asshole.....
.....I'm one of them!

Relatively speaking, few people actually watch him and since not everyone who watches agree with him..... :)

Just turn him off and ignore him. He's not a threat. Don't help to boost his ratings, just let his show go down the tubes where it belongs. Use your time and attention wisely.

We have an election to win. :toast:

6. Some people say Wolf Blitzer is "a Republican shill"...
He must get a separate paycheck from the White House. If not , he should.

8. Who cares? It raised enough doubt about Bush's service to sway some
young voters. Many first-time voters were too young to remember this from the 2000 election, so this had to be brought up again. We also need to make sure the other stories get out there. Nothing has to be proven - just establish the doubt.

9. the thing about this story is the longer it hangs in the air. the better
the chance something real might pop up. what if there are real documents out there that someone (burkett, or maybe some still working at the ang) tried to disguise by scanning them in and to change the look.

I know this is reaching, but you just never know. I have a feeling that this is going to blow up in bush's face.

10. Outfoxed (documentary) did a great job of showing this
Apparently though CNN watched and thought that meant it was a GOOD idea to spread false opinions (or editorials) under the guise of "some say".

I saw a scroll under MSNBC the other day doing the same thing...A Poll reports "SOME VOTERS" believe Kerry may not be able to handle an International Crisis".

Well SOME VOTERS also believe in Space Alien Abductions. Some Voters Believe in the healing power of Pig Shit. Some Voters believe David Koresh was Jesus returned to earth.

How low our journalistic integrity has fallen.

12. Wait a minute. If the DNC released forgeries, how did a GOP hack discredit
...them about 15 minutes after CBS released them?

And why is that GOP Hack (Buckhead)refusing to talk about HIS source for the documents, let alone the scientific treatise which this Hack had up on the internet four hours after their release?

I may have been born at night...but it wasn't LAST NIGHT.

The key to this story is Buckhead. CBS has a cause of action against whomever set them up with these documents (their anonomous source) and they should file suit immediately and use the court filing to serve subpoenas on all these shady characters.

13. Wolfie is the worst mediawhore. He has good guests though.
He often has people like Sy Hersh and Wes Clark on. It's tough having to put up with him. I change the channel the minute their interviews are over.

14. Whore Blister is the biggest war whore in the media
Whore Blister was rather rude with the German Ambassador to the US. Blister couldn't understand why the Germans are unwilling to send troops into the Iraq meatgrinder. He suggested that now that the Iraq war is over and there's an interim goverment with sovereignty, there's no reason why the Germans shouldn't help. He's spouting the Bush lie.

When was the Iraq war over? Where was the armistice? Who signed any treaty of peace? When did the Iraqi Army lay down their arms en masse and surrender? They just disappeared into the urban jungle and converted a conventional war of defense into a guerrilla war of insurgency. It's still the same war. Yet Whore Blister has the nerve to suggest that the Iraq war is over and that Bushco won it.
