John Kerry or George Bush? Who's the better man?
Is there any doubt? We have the best man and the best candidate in this race. John Kerry will be a better leader. John Kerry will make better decisions. John Kerry will be more fiscally responsible. John Kerry will be more adept and intelligent in regards to foreign policy. John Kerry will be a more compassionate leader. John Kerry will make more informed decisions about the war in Iraq. John Kerry will do more to protect our troops. John Kerry will not be asleep at the wheel.

1. It's even simpler than that............
John Kerry is a man of honor. * is not. End of subject.

2. Not just a better candidate, but a better MAN
Kerry is a real person. He has honor and integrity. He thinks about things, and is mature enough and wise enough to admit mistakes.

3. Damn straight
Took me a while after Clark fell out of the race, but I finally figured that out for myself about two months ago.

One of the best qualified candidates in recent memory. I get so steamed when someone calls him "an empty suit." I've learned to just love the guy.

4. Kerry and Clark
I loved Clark too, he was my boy as I even helped to draft him into the race. I wish he had a little more political experience, I think that he would have mopped the floor with Bush and Co. In the end, I have also come to support Kerry.

8. We get the best of both worlds
with Clark fighting to get Kerry elected.

I'm hoping for a defense post for the guy if we get in.

I agree with all of you absolutely.

I was not in Kerry's camp initially. In fact, I wasn't really "with" any of the candidates. Preferred Wes Clark, but voted for Edwards in the VA primary. So, I was basically all over the map.

But, over the past few months, I have grown to have the utmost respect for John Kerry and think he is as gifted as they come in public servants and will be an extraordinary president. To see our country turn their back on him in favor of Bush, is beyond my comprehension.

As I commented to a fellow Dem the other day who works on the Hill, "I no longer know what the criteria is", for the American public in choosing their leaders.

I disagree w/Graydon Carter of Vanity Fair. John Kerry doesn't need to learn to "speak American." Americans need to stop taking their stupid pills.

10. Watch these two speeches and YOU decide:
Edited on Sat Sep-18-04 08:35 PM by Francine Frensky
Two speeches from this summer, edited down to 4 minutes each. Kerry at the convention (best lines), then watch Bush butcher his appearance at the minority journalists conference.

Watch each here (go to Movie Theater2 for the Kerry speech):
