The difference is we didn't "know". it wasn't reported. As for guns, they weren't "visible" the way they are now but there were threatening signs".And the gun sitation isn't unique to Obama. One of our congressman had some teabaggers come to his office brandishing guns and intimidating because it was their "right" to carry them.That is exactly what the guntotters did to Obama.it is not acceptable under ANY circumstances.

But as for the mocking, it is part of politics.Perhaps you will criticize Obama for mocking himself next, or demand that folks only speak nice about dems but have leeway to mock the GOP?
