Why is Kerry NOT hammering Bush* on his Saudi Connections ?
Where are the ads with pictures of Bush* HOLDING HANDS with Prince Bandar ?

Where are the ads with quotes from the other Saudi Prince saying the Jews were behind 9/11 ?

Where are the ads featuring the ' 28 pages ' ?

Where are the ads with pics of Poppy Bush sitting in the Saudi Palace, and the details of the 100's of 1000's of dollars he made with Carlyle ?

Where are the ads talking about Bush Crime Family and Presidential Debate Lawyer James Baker defending the Saudi Royal family from the lawsuits on behalf of DEAD AMERICANS, killed by 15 Saudi Terrorists on 9/11 ?

Why is Bob Graham not out campaigning for Kerry, talking about how Bush* cares more about the Saudi Royals than the Truth, or the Americans killed by Saudis on 9/11.

What the FUCK is going on with this inspid Kerry campaign ?

( sorry for the rant, but this issue is a winner, and it seems they're too afraid to touch it ! )

1. Because there is so much to do, and so little time.
He can't go around with a catalog of Bush corruption. He'd have a hernia.

3. Actually I have it on
good authority that you will be seeing such ads. Have patience, they try to drop them at a strategically advantageous time. We are definitely going to smear Bush for his associations. Have no fear.

4. Um, he is talking about it, have you read any of his lastest speeches?
He may not be making commercials about it, but yesterday he was blasting Bush for letting Bandar look at classified information.

You really should read his speeches, Kerry has been on a roll this week.

5. well...
1. Kerry is starting to mention Saudi influence in his speeches. Not full blown attacks, but it is getting mentioned.

2. The most devastating picture of the Saudi/Bush connection is in the movie F911, which is coming out in DVD in a few weeks. Moore is also trying to get F911 on broadcast TV before the election.

3. If you haven't noticed, Bush lets others do the attacking. That is actually a pretty smart strategy. So, if I were Kerry, I would "hope" others like moveon etc would run the ads that bring out the hard truths you aptly recap in you post.

6. Saudi hand-holding will get the Undecideds
Hammering away on the Saudi connection is the key to breaking through to that strange creature -- "the undecided."

I've been working on a couple undecideds (although I really just want to slap them upside the head or tell them to just stay home) and after MANY conversations it's coming out that this is the one troubling area that they can't rationalize away.

8. Saudis heard him
July 30, 2004

WASHINGTON – Saudi Arabia Friday criticized Democratic presidential challenger Sen. John Kerry for "bashing" the kingdom when he called on the United States to cut its dependence on the Middle East nation's oil.

"Saudi bashing is not an energy policy," an official with the Saudi Embassy in Washington said.

In his nomination acceptance speech Thursday night, Kerry said he wants America to use technology to become energy independent and end its reliance on Saudi oil.

"I want an America that relies on its own ingenuity and innovation – not the Saudi royal family," he said.

Even Bush’s Secret Saudi Energy Plan is a Failure
For Immediate Release

With oil prices hitting record highs, it is increasingly apparent that the Bush energy policy is failing. The only plan Bush seems to have is relying on his Saudi friends to boost their production. Journalist Bob Woodward told us in April that that Bush and the Saudis had a plan to lower oil prices before the election to help Bush’s re-election chances. Even with the news of Saudi boosting production, oil prices continue to skyrocket, proving that even Bush’s secret Saudi oil plan is a failure.

“Everyone is familiar with this White House’s close ties to the Saudis. What’s unfortunate is that even Bush’s secret energy plan isn't doing anything to reduce these record high gas prices. It’s surprising that an administration that’s so close to the Saudi government still can't get the ‘jawboning’ done with OPEC,” said Chad Clanton, Kerry campaign spokesman.

Oil Prices Skyrocketing... The price of oil closed at $44.80 a barrel in New York, up 28 cents yesterday. The record price at the end of the day was set this past Monday at $44.84 a barrel. According to the New York Times, “Prices within pennies of $45 have been seen during trading several times this week.”

…But Bush Plan Does Nothing to Reduce Dependence on Foreign Oil. According to the New York Times, “Bush said soon after taking office that his goal was to reduce the country's dependence on foreign oil, to increase domestic production and to make energy cleaner and more affordable for all Americans. None of these things has happened. The country still imports nearly 60 percent of its oil, close to a record. American oil and gas production have remained flat, gasoline and heating fuel prices have been high, and renewable fuels still account for less than 4 percent of American consumption.”

Saudis Announce Increase in Oil Output. Saudi Arabia, the world’s largest exporter, announced that it would increase output by one million barrels a day in recent months, to more than 9.3 million barrels a day, and had the ability to do more.

Saudis and Bush Had Plan to Reduce Gas Prices Before 2004 Election

Bush Had Secret Deal With Saudis To Lower Gas Prices Before 2004 Election. According to the book “Plan of Attack” by Bob Woodward, Prince Bandar bin Sultan, Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to the U.S., has promised President George W. Bush the Saudis will reduce oil prices before this November’s election to help the U.S. economy and lower gas prices. In an interview with “60 Minutes”, Woodward said oil prices are “high, and they could go down very quickly. That’s the Saudi pledge. Certainly over the summer or as we get closer to the election they could increase production several million barrels a day and the price would drop significantly.”

Saudi Ambassador Promised to Lower Gas Prices to Stimulate Economy. According to an excerpt of Woodward's book “Plan of Attack”, “According to Prince Bandar, the Saudis hoped to fine-tune oil prices over 10 months to prime the economy for 2004. What was key, Bandar knew, were the economic conditions before a presidential election, not at the moment of the election.”

McClellan Admitted that Bandar Vowed to Keep Oil Prices At A Certain Price. White House press secretary Scott McClellan admitted that Prince Bandar “expressed his views out at the stakeout to you all that Saudi Arabia is committed to making sure prices remained in a range, I believe it’s $22 to $28 price per barrel of oil, and that they don’t want to do anything that would harm our consumers or harm our economy.”

Bandar Admitted That They Tried to Lower Gas Prices, Wanted Bush Re-elected. On CNN’s “Larry King Live,” Prince Bandar stated “We hoped that the oil prices will stay low, because that's good for America's economy, but more important, it's good for our economy and the international economy…So yes, it's in our interests and in America's interests to keep the prices down.” Bandar also admitted to wanting Bush to be re-elected “We always want any president who is in office to be re-elected, Larry, but that is the American choice.”

Statement from John Kerry on Anti-Semitic Statements by Saudi Government Officials
For Immediate Release May 5, 2004

Los Angeles, CA - Today Democratic Candidate for President John Kerry issued the following statement on anti-Semitic statements by Saudi government officials.

“Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Abdullah’s outrageous anti-Semitic comments this week blaming ‘Zionists’ for the terrorist attacks in Saudi Arabia raises serious questions about the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s commitment to combating terrorism.

“President Bush has said nothing. As President, I will never permit this kind of attack to go unanswered.”

Kerry Statement on Allegations Made in Senator Bob Graham’s New Book “Intelligence Matters”
For Immediate Release

Senator John Kerry released the following statement today on allegations made in Senator Bob Graham’s (D-FL) new book:

“Senator Graham is a respected member of the United States Senate and a former Chairman of the Intelligence Committee. These are serious allegations being made by a well respected and informed leader. If the White House and the FBI did in fact block an investigation into the ties between the Saudi government and the 9-11 hijackers, then this would be a massive abuse of power. We need an independent investigation into these allegations immediately to determine if the very agencies charged with investigating the war on terror have been compromised by White House politics.”

9. All Kerry has to do is look at the bookjacket of Sen Graham's book
Intelligence Matters. In 8 (!!!) bulleted little sentences, Graham gives Kerry a devastating summary of Bush's Saudi ties in relation to 911. PartyGirl, hope someone is looking at this list!!!! (I'm going to break it out as a new thread, since I took the time to type it all and probably no one will look at it here)

* At one point, a terrorist support network conducted some of its operations through Saudi Arabia's U.S. embassy--and a funding chain for terrorism led to the Saudi royal family.

* In February 2002, only four months after combat began in Afghanistan, the Bush Adminstration ordered General Tommy Franks to move vital military resources out of Afgh. for an operation against Iraq--despite Franks' privately stated belief that there was a job to finish in Afgh., and that the war on terrorism should focus next on terrorist targets in Somalia and Yemen.

*Through 2002, Pres. Bush directed the FBI to limit its investigations of Saudi Arabi, which supported some and possibly all of the Sept. 11 hijackers.

*The White House was so uncooperative with the bipartisan inquiry that its behavior bore all the hallmarks of a cover-up.

*The FBI had an informant who was extremely close to two of the Sept. 11 hijakcers, and actually housed one of them, yet the existence of this informant and the scope of his contacts with the hijackers were covered up.

*There were twelve instances when the September 11 plot could have been discovered and potentially foiled.

*Days after 9/11, U.S. authorities allowed some Saudis to fly, despite a complete civil aviation ban, after which the government expedited the departure of more than one hundred Saudies from the U.S.

*Foreign leaders throughout the Middle East warned Pres. Bush of exactly what would happen in a postwar Iraq, and those warnings went either ignored or unheeded.
