2. This is a very serious debate.
They have a Democrat on the panel (Juan Williams) who agrees with them that the award was a farce, so the argument must have some credence.

11. When Fox News needed him to be one.
I'm not really sure of his actual party affiliation, but he certainly plays the role of a "Fox News Liberal" in every way possible.

5. You'd think Obama bought this award or something...
I can just see the Nobel Committee looking down their noses at the snub they are getting.

7. These people....and ALL critics of the prize...are imbeciles!!
The awarding of the prize is NOT based on what a president has done during his term. The award is based on which of the nominees in that year has done the most to advance peace.

Obama...became president of the United States, leader of the free world...WHILE BLACK. THAT, in itself is a huge accomplishment. And THAT has brought more unity to this world than anything else in our life time. Ultimately, peace depends on unity.

9. Jeff Birnbaum said that Ghandi won the Nobel Peace Prize.
So that gives you some idea of the level of expertise on this panel.

10. Are they scrutinizing the other prizes - in Physics? Economics? Literature?
Or just the one that the black guy got?

15. The very fact that Fox, that demonstrated paragon of truth, balance and world peace,
is questioning the award should be a strong clue as to why the Nobel Committee chose Obama.
