Whys and more Whys

Why are people encouraged to buy big honkin' vehicles with low gas mileage?

WHy are people encouraged to shop all the time?

Why are people encouraged to spend all their money and live paycheck to paycheck?

Why are people not encouraged to save their money, and take sabbaticals now & then?

Why are people encouraged to value possessions more than anything else?

Why do we have to be a Consumer Society?

Glenda

3. Why are we more concerned with protecting
the "right" to own an assault weapon than we are the right to have health care?

don't be upset, after all, when you're unemployed, broke, deathly ill, and living in a cardboard box, you can always go pawn your AK-47 to buy some medical care.

4. Why do we become so used to getting screwed? Why does it take so long to
do anything about it? Why can't we go after thives in government? Why is it OK for a blowhard Gropinator to Drive a hummer when we are so dependant on foreign oil? Why have we let criminals run OUR country? Why has no one tried to assasinate *? We are liberal finding it hard to win? Why are there so many really scared people in the least likely to be hit parts of America? Why are so many people still voting to get screwed? Ok Thanks I needed to do that and didn't know it until I read yours.
