I don't believe that I just sat there and watch the show. It did inspire me to write him a letter.
What really pissed me off was when he made a big stink about Kerry mis-naming the stadium in Green Bay and turn right around and squashed one of his guest when they mentioned the OBGYN practicing love comment.
This guy is an idiot and I am just as big of an idiot for watching him.

1. You're not alone...

I regret watching him every night - one definition of insanity is that you perform the same task over and over again and expect a different outcome. He's a terrible putz - it's very weird in a way. He'll say with a straight face that Kerry has already lost the election because of mis-stating the name of frigging Lummox Field, but all that shit from * is just OK because you could enjoy having a beer with HIM...Then he goes of Maher's show and denigrates those who say they would like to have a beer with *, saying that you'll never get a chance to commune with this guy because you don't commune with Presidents.

What a screw-up and smarmy comment that was considering his history. Thesse guys try to hide behind a veneer of Political Science, but it may as well be called Political Alchemy.

2. He's a chicken shit like the rest of the media..

He shows some integrity once in a while and then backs down in fear of not being able to book Repug guests. I heard he took a some heat for the Malkin incident and got the cold shoulder for a few days. I noticed that his tail was back between his legs after that incident (he brow beat her for an answer about her crazy allegation of Kerry's self inflicted wounds).
The infotainment media is worried about access to guests and the Repugs really know how to stick together and squeeze them.

3. I email him practically everyday encouraging him to STAND UP and be a

reporter.

My take is that he stood up to the Rove crowd on SwiftBoats, challenged them when they used an out of context clip from Hardball to smear Kerry, and challenged Zell Millers stupid "spitball" talking point.

They blackballed him, and his response was to cave in.

So I write him every day, stroking his ego, reminding him how Rove works, and encourage him to take the crowd of thugs on. Then I'll usually include a story he ought to look at.

A lot of good it does. . . .
