Should Kerry adopt the bizarre "pigeon head" movements that
Chimpie seems to find so enjoyable?

You know, you've seen him do it a million times, while clinging desperately to the old podium, he bobs and weaves all over the thing -trying to make his typically loony "point".

Then for emphasis, he sticks the old noggin' WAY OUT and turns it slightly to the side, ending with the sickening half grin?

Its definitely part of his cagey strategy to try to "soften" his image by APPEARING to "appeal" to us ordinary folk in a big brotherly way.

Do you think it would work for Kerry if he tried it?

1. You just put your finger on what bugs me most about his mannerisms
I thought it actually was chicken-like.

2. But let's admit it--he is a better communicator than Kerry
at least when it comes to the average dumbass American. Sorry, but Kerry communicates well with people like me, educated people, Big Idea, literate people, but when it comes to the average "people person", who reads the newspaper, then Bush does better.

I beginning to think that Dean would have been better, much as I hated him for a cryptoConservative. But at least Dean could change up his speaking style, and get out of the standard politician-mode style of spearking. Dean could lower his voice, and come across on tv as a real person.

Bush also does that to a great degree. He is better at it than Kerry. Let's face it--he has a talent.

Maybe the press did sabotage dean after all. Maybe the GOP realized, long before I did, that Dean was simply a very good communicator, someone who could beat Bush. But I think Kerry could be a better Prez than Dean, who is a rightwinger, fiscally.
