4. Maybe we squashed it too soon
Edited on Fri Sep-17-04 07:48 PM by RatTerrier
The story is pretty dead now, since it's been debunked so thoroughly.

Perhaps if we let it sit for a bit, the takedown would have not only debunked this guy, but it would have made him look really bad.

But the debunking was very good. Maybe too good.

5. In the sane world, yes.
Even some Swiftvets backers are dropping this stooge.

Of course, the Freepers and Late German Fascists are still drinking the Koolaid.

6. No, the story should just be getting started.
Which is that the Republican party has well-organized operatives (with accomplices in the media) who stage phony confrontations designed to smear Democrats and union workers. I'd like to see this story pursued further because I'm sure there are a lot of other interesting facets to it. I'd like to know who else is involved, how far it goes, what other hoaxes were carried out, etc.

7. It is as dead as most "poor abused" protester stories.
People can see the bigger picture sometimes. Perhaps we won't have to hear from that Freeper stooge anytime soon.
