Bush Is Caving To Terrorist Demands (WOMAN PRISONER RELEASED!)
Edited on Wed Sep-22-04 12:35 PM by Beetwasher
They just released one of the women prisoners (reported on CNN, no link yet) in response to the kidnappers, this after Bush admin. says the following:

U.S. Says Won't Bow to Demand of Kidnappers in Iraq

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - With time running out to save a British hostage in Iraq (news - web sites), U.S. officials said on Wednesday they were not about to free female Iraqi prisoners as demanded by an al Qaeda ally whose group has already beheaded two Americans.

--snip--

Also keep in mind, Bush pulled our troops out of Saudi Arabia which was something Al Quaeda demanded we do.

As of 1:30pm on 9/22/04, the above story was 23 minutes old. IOW, 23 minutes after making the above statement, the admin. caved and released a prisoner in response to terrorists.

1. Also keep in mind, Bush pulled our troops out of Saudi Arabia which was so
This, along with the fact that not one terrorist involved in 9/11 has been brought to trial, should be the main factor in assessing *'s performance as our protector!

2. there's much more to this --that last hostage is from the UK
pressure from hostages or pressure from BLAIR? Give me an effing break...bush could care less about OUR hostages, but in order to keep the poodle on his lap he's giving in ...

was the one known as Dr. Germ, who worked on biological weapons research.

6. Wasn't this considered a big coup when they arrested her?
and I thought Bush said there were no women prisoners and isn't releasing her against the we will not negotiate with terrorists? And is this a flip-flop?

5. Is that a major flip flop?
We don't give in to terrorists (whoops they killed an American hostage) -- the US does not give in to terrorists (whoops, they killed the other American hostage) -- we have released Dr. Germ on bail (whew, they haven't killed the British hostage yet, have they)

Do you think the families of the American hostages killed in the last few days will see the irony of the flip flop policy of the idiot weed that would be king?

I get sick to my stomach. Seriously. :puke:
I can't think of anything more painful than having to watch a loved one beheaded on the internet.

10. Apparently only American hostages need to be concerned
they negotiate with the terrorists before the British hostage is killed.

But in the end, it won't matter if they release her to save Americans or Brits...we will all pay the price if ANY demands are are met.

15. Yahoo: U.S.: Iraqi Prisoners Won't Be Released
BAGHDAD, Iraq - Iraq (news - web sites)'s leader and U.S. officials moved quickly Wednesday to squelch the idea a top female germ-warfare scientist for Saddam Hussein (news - web sites) would be freed soon, after a senior Iraqi official said the decision had been made to release her. Iraqi militants who beheaded two Americans have threatened to kill a Briton unless female detainees are let go.

16. We're winning the war on terrorism, right?
When you have to cave to the terrorist's demands, that is usually a sign you are winning, right?

George must really be going gangbusters on this war.
