Had a T shirt that said 9/11 Families against the war, on the front, and Pro-Jesus (I forget the rest of it) on the back. I think he had a button-down shirt in his hand so he must have covered up the T to get in. The freeper had him in a head-lock; I'm surprised he didn't rip his head off. At first it looked like he was going to be trampled by a mob, but they let him get up and escorted him away. I was a bit shocked to see a black kid holding up four fingers in front of his face and screaming "4 more years" along with the others.

ran up from behind

the guy had a Tshirt on that said someting like 'Jesus says bring the troops home'

hard to differentiate between that and the sheetmetal worker who headlocked that creep who heckled Kerry....it seemed a bit more violent, though

11. Just saw it.

I couldn't make it to the rally in Eugene to protest because I had to work, and when I got home the rally was on TV. I watched for a short time before I got disgusted enough to turn it off.

The individual that was attacked was protesting the war; he didn't appear to be supporting Kerry. He started screaming, "Talk about the war!" A few seconds later a man ran up from behind the protester, put his hand over the guy's face, and a few others helped drag him down.

I ended up turning the TV off right after this incident. The combination of this man being attacked and Cheney saying, "Oregon is Bush/Cheney country" was more than I could handle.

Oregon is NOT Bush/Cheney country!! It's Kerry/Edwards country!!!!
