Need DU help convincing friend to vote for Kerry

Can someone help me effectively respond to this email? I'd like to respond with concrete answers and if you can site sources, that'd help as well.

" Not Spam I'm Republican! Tell me why I should vote for Kerry?
" I would consider voting democrat because I feel no great loyalty to
Bush. Please send me something, anything that will give me some idea of
Kerry's vision for America. All I know about Kerry was he served in
Nam and the senate. His voting record is to the left of liberal. No
one I know can think of any legislation he sponsored. For all I know
this man could be planning to run the white house like his career in the
senate"

http://www.vote-smart.org she will find all info on his senate voting. This one will explain his issues. http://www.ontheissues.org As for Kerry's service I can only tell you what I remember and know, same for his speech before senate. I know a link to his speech was posted and can be looked up.

It's not hard to find information if you just make a minimum of effort. Unless your friend has some concrete questions, it will be hard for DU to really do anything substantial. What does he/she care about? Why is he/she a Republican?
