Tucker Carlson: I Could Beat George W. Bush
He said it.

"I could beat George W. Bush"

Context: trying to say Kerry's campaign is in chaos.

But there it is. He sure thinks a lot of W., eh?

15. Interesting how they can absolve Cheney of having anything to do with
the trading with Iraq and Iran while he was CEO of HB. It is blatant and in their face and they refuse to acknowledge it... what sort of journalism is that? I gotta give it to Begala for not giving him an uppercut now and then.

I forget the name of the guy they had on... but he had his ducks in a row... definitely knows his stuff concerning these issues. There was a law passed some years ago... the trading with the enemy act.... I think Shrub's grandpa had something to do with it....

17. Isn't Halliburton's subsidiaries doing
business with Iraq similar, if not the same, as what Bill Clinton pardoned Marc Rich for? I know Rich was also pardoned for tax evasion or something, but I thought one of the charges against him was doing business with Iraq.

23. Don't rember what that was about.. if it did concern
a pardon for doing biz with Iraq... then shrub needs to pardon dick.

http://www.truthout.org/docs_01/02.03E.Hallib.Iraq.htm

>>UNITED NATIONS -- During last year's presidential campaign, Richard B. Cheney acknowledged that the oil-field supply corporation he headed, Halliburton Co., did business with Libya and Iran through foreign subsidiaries. But he insisted that he had imposed a "firm policy" against trading with Iraq.<<

A firm policy my rear end. The rest of the article explains the truth of it.

Kerry's doing fine. Is Begalia touting the polls which have Kerry and Bush neck and neck?

13. Tuckie...
it appears to me that Tucker hasn't exactly been totally 100% supportive of Bush. In fact, I was kind of surprised at the grades he gave to speeches at the Rethug Fascist Meeting.

19. right......and I'm beginning to wonder if he's doing a parody of himself
because he's SO over the top as to become ludicrous

he's reduced himself to parroting what Begala says, sarcastically, then saying, 'yeah, that'll win the election for you'

that's about all he's got left

not very often does he bother addressing the substance of the issue at hand

CNN must only be interested in the trainwreck/Springer effect

it really is a waste of time anymore

at least Novak doesn't act like a hebrephemic schizophrenic

21. He's a real creep...
Edited on Fri Sep-17-04 04:20 PM by PCIntern
he is without doubt the most obnoxious, effeminate, self-righteous, slimy bastard on the tube.

Except for all the other geeks and Novak on the tube.

If he were on my side, I would seriously think something was wrong with my argument.

The problem with him saying that he could beat Bush, is that you can't even picture this guy masturbating, much less winning anything. You can only imagine his tortured youth in school and on athletic teams.

He figures he fooled eveyone because he's a bow-tied 'professorial' fellow but he's just a punk...in the jailhouse sense.

22. Rove has probably already whacked him.
The message "the GOP candidate stinks so badly that a whining girly-boy could beat him" isn't exactly positive.

24. Tucker has such a hard job!
Imagine how difficult it must be for him to have to try and defend an ignoramous like Bush? No wonder he burst out in frustration and spoke his true feelings, "I could beat George W. Bush."

Tucker, relief is on the way. In a few short weeks John Kerry is going to win this election, and your agony will be over. You will be free then to cultivate your pansies, or whatever.
