If this is an actual occurrence (as unlikely as it seems) then someone will file a criminal complaint against the guy. His picture is in the paper and distributed nationally by AP. Identifying the guy will not be difficult. Attacking a little girl should get him some jail time. I suspect that no criminal charges will be filed.

14. My First Reaction to the Pictures

What kind of father wouldn't defend his child? Look at him in that picture, what a freaking coward. He is bigger than the union guy, and there seems to be only one... the story indicated some sort of mob effort but there are so few people around. And why does the union guy look so concerned if he just moments earlier tore up the sign. And if he ripped the sign from her hands, why does she have a middle chunk of the sign... is the little girl that strong?
