Funny stuff. They seem to feel Bush made a mistake when he signed the military release form.

Hmmm.. what do they think he needs to hide? Don't they ever get sick of defending the screw-up-in-chief? They obviously know he's a screw-up.

1. Ketchup Boy? That's what they call Kerry?
Is that the best they can come up with?

15. Botox Boy is the other one
Yeah, that's the best they can come up with.

Either that or the perennial "Hanoi John", and the ever-xenophobic Jean Forbes Kerrie

26. This one is rich:
Everyone please understand this isn't about incriminating evidence being released about G.W., which I don't believe exists.

This Judge may have just ordered a WITCHHUNT into ALL service records of every past and present service member in an attempt to find incriminating information!!!

Does everyone understand how serious this is????

19. Did he or didn't he.
No one there seems to know. I thought he did, but then created a special office in the Pentagon to filter what actually got released.

21. Bush NEVER did
Edited on Fri Sep-17-04 01:07 AM by noahmijo

At the White House, press secretary Scott McClellan said he couldn't say specifically whether Mr. Bush signed Standard Form 180, but the president did request and release his own military records in February.
"I don't believe he signed any form, but he did authorize making his military records available publicly," Mr. McClellan said. "We have released all the records, and reporters were allowed to look at his medical records as well."

27. Leave it to the freepers..
to come up with an explanation that defies all logic:

According to the White House President Bush has NOT signed a Form-180, but instead signed a letter telling the DoD to release all of his records a year ago. A form-180 is nothing more than a letter saying to release your documents that ONLY requires your signature. Apparently President Bush has enough energy and ambition to acutally write a letter and sign it.

Basically a letter written on stationary with the Great Seal of the President of the United States would have more weight and power than a F-180.

Gee, so instead of signing the official form which would require the military to release all records, Bush sent them a little note that carries absolutely no legal weight. Makes sense to me.
