Popeye sez: 'I yam what I yam.." .....and John Kerry is what he is...
He is an intelligent, soft-spoken, thinking person. He is not a passionate, fire and brimstone politician. He is a pragmatist that believes we can work together to make things better for all. He believes in government. He is a liberal.

He is honest. He doesn't have to bullshit or pretend that he can speak with another regional dialect. He is not a simple-minded man that sees everything in black and white. He understands the complexities of life because of his experiences. He has stood on his own at difficult times in his life - he did not ask for friends of his family to protect him from enemies unseen.

The Democrats have a good and honest man running for President. He is what he is. He does not have to lie or pretend to be something he is not. He is a compassionate and honorable man. We are lucky that we have the best man running to lead this country. Whether or not he will win remains to be seen. If he does not win, it will be America's loss.

1. He will fight if he is pushed though.
As the last couple of weeks have shown.

2. I agree 100%
The contrast between Bush and Kerry is about as stark as you can draw.

In this election we will find out if America takes itself seriously, takes the death of tens of thousands seriously, takes it future seriously.

Image vs substance.

I am not sure which way they will go.

But I am damn proud to be a Democrat and that John Kerry is my candidate for President at this time of true crisis for our democracy.

5. I agree with everything you say about Kerry
but he's really going to have to play hardball if he's going to win in November. With Rove and the media against them, there'll be no other way I predict.
