why not to listen to Gallup
their methodology is designed to work RIGHT before the election. NOT 6 weeks in advance.

Gallup gets lots of flukey results, and this is one.

3. Has anyone seen the poll yet? I've seen threads here and there tonight
but no actual links. Maybe it's not true.

4. Do you know why?
I have seen them, for years now, be horrifically skewed to the right on just about any poll they do. It's not uncommon to see them off by more than double digits when compared collectively to other polls. I'm curious as to what's really going on. Any Gallup insider want to post anonymously and fill us in?

5. The AP says 14 point lead in the Gallup poll released 9/17 - I think
Gallup has a bad poll.

A Gallup poll being released Friday has Bush up 54-40 in a three-way matchup, with Ralph Nader at 3 percent.

7. I read that they are including people who MIGHT vote for
Bush if the election were held today as part of their sample? WTF kind of methodology is that?
