Kerry's October Surprise????
Edited on Wed Sep-15-04 10:38 AM by flush_bush
did anyone hear the AAR caller yesterday (thanks to a poster below who refreshed my memory, i believe it was on mike malloy's show) who said that she was somehow connected to the kerry campaign? she said that something will be coming out about bush just before election day that will guarantee a win for kerry but she wouldn't give details. she said it was information about chimpy and that it would be such a huge blow to his campaign that kerry will win hands down.

did anyone hear this? if so, does anyone have any idea what she was talking about?

34. By sitting on this info about * til the end of October....................
these people are allowing a lot of Advance/Absentee voters to commit to * without all of the facts.

If anybody's got damaging info about * they need to get it out there now so Kerry can grab some of these Advance/Absentee votes.

They seem to be having credibility problems. Maybe Kitty Kelley's book? It is at least getting lots of attention.

14. yeah, she said it would be something totally new....
...something other than what's already out there. also, i paraphrased her in the original post because i don't remember her exact words. it was either on franken's show yesterday or randi's show the day before (i know this because i was unable to tune into randi yesterday but i heard the franken repeat late last night and tuesday i only listened to randi's show).

if i weren't so damn busy i'd listen to the archived shows and try to find the call. i was hoping someone here had heard it too.

i also agree with the posters in this thread that say stuff like "we've been hearing this kind of stuff for a long time and nothing that explosive usually materializes".

63. I have an idea: "Bush lied to you"
It would be four-column headlines on the front page of every paper,

KERRY: "BUSH LIED", EXPERTS CONFIRM

NEW YORK - Oct 16 Last night, appearing on the FOXNews network's 'The O'Reilly factor', presidential candidate John Kerry revealed that the Bush administration and President Bush himself had been knowingly untruthful regarding a wide array of issues, including Senator Kerry himself ..."

Edited on Wed Sep-15-04 10:17 AM by rocknation
Don't forget that there's still some payback due from the intelligence community for Valarie Plame's outing and for being blamed for Bush's using only the intelligence reports that served his purposes. If the Kerry camp doesn't get him, the CIA certainly will!

40. Poppy seed was head of the CIA, and he is the only former
president who still gets daily CIA intelligence briefings. Communication is a two way street.

I would imagine that he has most all bases covered from the sidelines. After all, the evil shrub classified most of the documents pertaining to his family history right after the election.

If something big was coming from the CIA this October, then I would guess that not only is he fully informed, but the response has been calculated as well.

has already come out about Bush, not to mention the entirely crappy and disasterous job he's done for the past 4 years. How many times in the last 3 years have we said on this board that "This is it! This will be the undoing of Bunnypants!" - only to discover that no one else out there in Americaland gives a rat's ass.

I'll believe it when I see it.

This guy has presided over the biggest intelligence failure in our nation's history, has the poorest record on jobs creation since the Depression, backed both takebacks in civil liberties and labor rights, has been unabashedly in the pockets of the rich, refused to act when a CIA agent was outed, etc. etc. etc...

Still, the average 'murkin, one of millions in the herd of indifferent and stupid cows, cares not.

We are condemned to corporate capitalism.. er... fascism.. er..whatever.

6. Interesting. Check out this.
Especially fun for astrology buffs, like myself.

"Someone sent me a link to Starlight News, a site that uses astrology to predict the future of politics. According to this site the Kerry campaign is going to have a good October and will win the election on November 2. No final electoral tally is provided.

The astrologers out there may be interested to note the technical side of their predictions. According to the site...

Transiting Saturn conjunct Inaugural IC; transiting Saturn station conjunct Bush's Saturn triggering the square to Bush's progressed Venus; transiting Saturn station quincunx US Moon; transiting Saturn square Bush/Cheney composite Sun (November); transiting Pluto conjunct Bush's South Node; transiting Pluto sesquiquadrate Bush's Ascendant triggering converse progressed Mars conjunct Bush's Ascendant."

I wouldn't put too much stock in astrological prediction.

That being said, I'd love for the trasiting Saturn conjunct or square of Bush's progressed Venus to have an affect on the race! I don't count on it, but I'd love to see it!

75. The Bush* "Saturn Return"
For the non-astrologers, Saturn is a planet known for loss, limitation, hardship and difficulty. Every 29 years or so it completes its cycle and ends up where it started and a new cycle begins. In human situations this generally creates a drastic change of events. If you look back, sometime between the ages of 28 - 30 something happened to you to knock you off course and send you in an entirely new direction, drastically changing the status quo and your worldview in the process. Perhaps it was a marriage, the start of a new business, a move to a new city, a new job, an accident or illness...whatever it was, it was BIG (and not necessarily an easy transition. Saturn has a way of knocking you up-side the head if you're not paying attention and it can be kick-ass when it needs to be.)

Now, if you don't get the first Saturn Return right (and we know Shrub's been a royal screw-up all his life), the second one is a real doozy and this is what he'll be up against for the election. AND his upcoming Saturn Return will be in the 12th house of "self-undoing" and "seclusion" while Mars in the 4th (foundation) is square the whole configuration which pretty well seals the deal. Shrub's days of power are numbered (providing that "Tecumseh's Curse" doesn't get him first - ha!)

I wouldn't be surprised if JK has a few tricks up his sleeve. He didn't get the reputation of being a closer for nothing. He said in Time mag that he's been in tougher places.

I think this election is going to bring people out in droves. People who haven't voted in years, & lots of people who have never voted. I hope the youth vote will be huge.

I hope he has a food taster.

on edit: I predict a win in spite of Diebold. I'd like to see some corporate crooks go down too.

I still remember watching Karen Hughes standing on a runway talking to reporters about Bush's DUI and I remember thinking "This is it! Bush is fucked!" It may worked, but not well enough.

Whatever Kerry's people have up their sleeve this time had better make the DUI thing look like a parking ticket. Like a picture of a blood-soaked Bush leaving a hotel room holding a hatchet and dripping trash bag.

His campaign doesn't even need "opposition research" because Kerry is probably intimately familiar with what W did in the 70's.

but that is JMO after years of reading everything I can get my hands on regarding bush's "youthful indiscretions"

48. What could be SO BAD and a SLAM DUNK?
Ive been racking my brain trying to come up with something. The one thing I keep coming back to is Plame. But as someone pointed out, the Kerry camp holding this back would not look good at all.

ANYTHING with the Guard may cause alot of people to roll their eyes, unless it's definitive proof of a coke arrest, but then again, there was the DUI in 2000 and he only lost by 500,000.

What could be so frickin BAD that it's a slam dunk for KE? Gay?? Of course in and of itself, is nothing, but after all his fricking chest beating, bible thumping and trying to add amendments, and total disregard/hatred/discrimination against gays, WOULD be something. Repukes would hate his guts, he'd lose the Christian right...

Maybe the "Surprise" is a "plan" to make Bush look so bad, loose his temper maybe, that folks watching will see the skin come off and the "real" GWB standing "V"-like before them.

I swear to God! We're watching something on TV and we said they're like the things in "V", peel their skin off and they're all freakin LIZARDS! LMFAO! HAHAHAHAHAHA!

I think Edwards could push Pork Roast to lose his shit during a debate, I really do.

72. Yea, but if at the end of it
he's pronounced "unfit for health reasons"????????

Can you see it now...Darth Chaney works himself into a spittle sprawling rage, his face as purple as his robe, and keels over, passed out. From offstage, on camera now, rushes a crash cart and team of medics, all the while the PA shouts "Code Blue, Code Blue".

Ahh what great TV that debate would be.

55. Some of us have sensed a bombshell coming
which would explain Kerry's smart-like-a-fox stance. The info needs to be thoroughly vetted, if there are photos, memos, etc. And releasing the info close to the election leaves less time for spin. Already the Repukes are calling for congressional investigations ( cuz we have money to burn!) on CBS, even thought the * campaign was caught red-handed violating campaign law with its connection to the Swiftboat Maggots for Chimpy.

The evil Nazi minions - just like the Orcs - don't let reason stand in the way of propaganda. A late hour revelation is smart given that history...

And please remember- there wasn't a 911 or an Iraq war or a terrifying deficit to consider in 2000. 2000 and 2004 are ENTIRELY DIFFERENT elections!!!

* can be pushed over much easier this go-round.

62. It's like law enforcement calling a press conference
to announce that there will be an arrest any minute in connection with a heinous crime. It puts the real criminal on edge. And we need to keep the turd in the White House on edge from now until we boot his lazy, good-for-nothing ass out in November.

If it doesn't pertain to any of those two, it just ain't gonna do the trick. Maybe Jesus is going to make the encore appearance and announce: You know that son of a bitch (Babs, that is), who keeps running around telling you he's my Pa's second son?--well, he isn't. He's ROSEMARY's BABY!!!!

have something--something BIG. It can't be AWOL cause usually we save the surprise for around 5 days before the election (so that they don't have time to really combat it).

Maybe someone who did cocaine with Bush? Or bought dope from LAura?

Difficult, I know, because inquiring minds want to know. But the freepers are watching us (yes, I see you, you America-hating people), and an October Surprise will be more effective if it's more surprising. Let's instead put all our efforts into finding out what Bush*'s October Surprise(s) is/are.
