Chuck Hagel Agrees Things are Getting Worse in Iraq

I like a guy who--despite the situation--tells the straight truth.

Accoring to the AP:
Republican senator, Chuck Hagel of Nebraska, said the situation in Iraq is deteriorating. "The worst thing we can do is hold ourselves hostage to some grand illusion that we're winning," said Hagel, a Vietnam War veteran. "Right now we're not winning. Things are getting worse."

on Bush re: the war than our "Democratic" Senator, Ben Nelson.

This is just the latest in a series of harsh criticisms that Hagel has leveled on Bush.
