Dems Say Kerry Back On Track
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2004/09/16/politics/main643960.shtml

“But you know what, the games over. Now the debate is going to center on whether the American people are any better off or any safer than they were four years ago,” Kucinich insisted. “I think that we’ve seen is a temporary lull that’s now about to come to end and it will result in this one of the most powerful finishes for a candidate in a modern election. You watch Kerry catch on.”

Good article on CBS. Hope it isn't a dupe.

4. AWOL story is helping Bush. Gallup poll out tomorrow shows 13% Bush lead
I have been told that a Gallup/CNN poll to be released on Friday shows Bush 13 points ahead nationally. The AWOL/National Guard issue is backfiring as people are blaming the Democrats for the alleged forgeries. We need to get back to the real issues.

6. A top Dem staff person told me about the Gallup poll.
I don't like Gallup, but it does show the forgery issue is hurting Kerry, who is being unfairly blamed by voters.

8. I have been feeling this way for about a week and a half. The
pathetic press is always slow to detect a political reality. Even the smarmy shrew Judy Woodruff had to acknowledge that the race was tightening - after weeks of practically penning Kerry's obit.

This crowd is soooo sickening and soooo predictable.
