5. once again they IGNORE the reality behind the papers
Edited on Thu Sep-16-04 06:20 PM by buycitgo
if you;re going to talk about this crap, TALK ABOUT THE SUBSTANCE, the facts of his service, not the memo

Marie Cocco is CRAZY! she says the public KNEW about all this in 2000!

what an ASS!

I used to like her

she'd delusional

I used to email back and forth with her

time to start up again, and bring her back to reality

can't believe she said that

7. God Matthews is a dumbass. The problem is * doesn't
realize he is a rich kid that got special treatment - he wont admit it.

It is the old line - he was born on third but he thinks he hit a triple.

9. God, when will you people learn...
Stop watching this garbage!!!!! Read a book, or spend your time looking up valid, actual news and information on the internet rather than watching that dreck and then posting about what dreck it is.

We are all smart people on here. Why do we subject ourselves to cable news?

Again, the analogy is knowingly going to a Yankees game at Yankee stadium and then complaining that the fans were too enthusiastic about the yankees.

11. I'm looking up real news while I have the dreck on in the background.
It is called multitasking. Heh, I'm making dinner at the same time too.

I read plenty of books but it doesn't really work at a time like this.

It was perfectly clear what this thread was about from the title. So if you don't like it, look elsewhere.

I actually thought people might want to see Bill Burkett's interview about what he saw during the scrubbing of * records.

12. I know it's difficult...
I was a cable news junkie myself. It's tough weening off but I refuse to give them any more ratings, no matter who they have on.

14. Well, Keith is on now and I love Keith. I have never pledged to
give up cable news although I will limit myself at times for my sanity's sake.

told my sister I'd run into somebody who had a kid in school in CR, by the way

15. I missed most of it. They were talking about what happened to Powell
and why does he stay. Powell was trying to keep the neocons in check but that he has lost that battle. They said how the Admin. used him to sell the case to the UN but that was about all. They used him but didn't actually listen to him.

I kept thinking (before the Iraq War) that Powell would resign but he never did. I have been so incredible disappointed in him. He still (from his interviews on the Sunday shows) seems to be the only one in the Administration that has any touch with reality. I'm not sure if that makes him worse or better.
