Do you think those a-hole Repub Representatives STILL want to investigate?
Weren't they having a hissy-fit today on the floor of the House saying CBS's story was FALSE, etc.?

Didn't 40 of the Repub Representatives send a letter to CBS saying they were going to investigate?

Still think they want to pursue this in the aftermath of Ms. Knox's interview tonight?

Hahahahaha!

Bring. It. On.

1. I think they should investigate Mrs. Knox
Haul that grandmotherly lady up there and demand to know what right she has to free speech!

2. Oh, yeah, they'll investigate SOMETHING,

just as soon as they get their emails from Rove. He'll be up late tonight trying to plot the next plan of attack. It will be interesting to see what the talking points will be tomorrow. Any guesses?

3. I just emailed Rather and told him not to reveal his
source until Robert Novak reveals who in the White House gave him the Valerie Plame iformation. What total hypocracy!

10. I did the exact same thing!
To: evening@cbsnews.com

I am PROUD of CBS/Dan Rather and their courage to stand up for what they know to be
true!

While Bob Novak won't reveal HIS source that led to the WH Plame outing the GOP is
laughably demanding that Dan Rather reveal HIS source!

As far as revealing sources is concerned (a practice I don't recommend btw) Mr.
Rather should tell them "YOU go first!" and expose their double-standard for what
it is!

Keep up the good work, Mr. Rather! It's been too long since the American public
has seen REAL journalism at its finest!

4. are you kidding me? Did you catch the spin Sean Insanity
put on this story? He was so unbelievably disrespectful of Carl Bernstein (why am I surprised?) and grunted and groaned every time Carl tried to make a point. And, his stupid sidekick - what a fucktard: everytime Carl Bernstein would try to make a point, Colmes would talk over top of him. Hey Colmes, shut up: he's on our side!

At the end, Insanity snorted to Bernstein, "I guess we all know who you're voting for..." Newsflash for Sean: The guy professes to be liberal and works at one of the most liberal newspapers in the country. Call me crazy, but I don't think he spearheaded the "Jews for Buchanan Campaign in 2000."

Lunkhead: I wouldn't fuck him with Ann Coulter's dick.

Hey: thanks for letting me vent! I really need to stop watching that show. It's REALLY bad for my blood pressure.

6. The only good part about Hannity was what a total
child he was, ignoring Carl and acting like he was reading something. You can bet Hannity's blook pressure was over the top cause he was furious at the end. hehehehehe

8. okay, you saw that too...
what a fuckin' tool - he has the audacity to question the facts of someone else's reporting. What size undershorts does this guy have to fit those mamoth sized balls into? He wouldn't know a fact if it bit him in the ass. And, (one more, I'm on a roll) - he's so fucking full of himself, he leaks out his own ears.

11. I truly believe that what goes around comes around and
if there is a God in heaven, He will let me watch it happen. Oh what I wouldn't give to have that man get caught with his pants around his ankles and a woman named Divine Brown standing nearby asking her $20.00. Anybody that self-righteous is up to no damn good - just look at the president to know that's a fact.

Hey, a person can dream can't they?

7. It all depends how the supposedly legitimate media reports it
If the smarmy brain-deads at CNN, ABC, etc. actually give the secretary any air time at all, Shrub looks like a damned clown. If they just keep hammering away at the "forged documents" and ignore her, Shrub comes off as a wounded innocent.
Sadly, I won't be surprised if they choose Route 2.

16. "Forged couments",
"The real story is CBS and how they screwed up.", "Bush's record was covered 4 years ago, and people know the truth and have accepted it."

These were all statements I heard tonight. Nevermind that only one newspaper even bothered to cover this story 4 years ago (Boston Globe).

Media whores for Bush. Let's hope CBS's ratings go through the roof.

17. I heard that story four years ago and I never
accepted it. I think the story is ten times more important today because we are at war and while the little shit got out of going to war himself, he certainly doesn't have a problem sending other people's kids off to die - that's the difference

14. Believe it or not...
Separately, Rep. Christopher Cox (R-Calif.), citing reports in The Post and the Dallas Morning News, asked that a House communications subcommittee investigate what he called "the continued use of CBS News of apparently forged documents" intended to damage Bush's reputation and "influence the outcome of the 2004 presidential election." But the panel's chairman, Rep. Joe Barton (R-Tex.), rejected the request, saying that the oversight of network news should be left to the viewing public and news media.

I cannot abide Joe Barton. I hate the guy. But I will give him this one.

15. I hope they do ...
... it will give Democrats an opportunity to fire hardball questions at witnesses under oath.

Oh no, they won't do that in a million years.
