ALERT - Judy Woodruff and Her Boss Eason Jordan Re: Biased Poll Reporting
ACTION ALERT

Judy Woodruff: judy.woodruff@turner.com
Eason Jordan: eason.jordan@turner.com

Please write Judy Woodruff and her boss, Eason Jordan to complain about CNN's biased coverage of the polls.

They grudgingly announced today that Bush's bounce "may have faded" a bit.

THREE NEW NATIONAL POLLS came out today which showed Kerry with a slight lead or dead even:

Pew Poll - dead even
ARG Poll - Kerry up by 3
Harris Poll - Kerry up by 1

When polls came out after the convention, the reporting from CNN was all about "Bush's momentum".

When polls come out now showing Kerry surging, they report "Bush's bounce may have faded a bit."

Write and complain about the one sided coverage.

Tell them that the story is that Kerry is SURGING in the polls and has the momentum and they are showing their bias by not reporting these polls at all or putting their spin on it.

Take a second and write them now!

The story should be accurate: Kerry Surges Back to Reclaim Lead

1. What gets me....
is that they are also saying that Bush's polling during the convention was in fact inflated (admitting that their reporting is, in fact, biased!), trying to make you believe that the swing in momentum is not all that great.

5. Done : Subject line : You're poisoning the Kerry coverage and sweetening
the Bush coverage.

If you think we don’t notice the hundreds of “small” things you do to “make it better” for Bush, you are very wrong. I am extremely disappointed in your professionalism, and I’m seriously considering having cable removed from my house.

11. Yep - Brand new today

http://americanresearchgroup.com/index.shtml

John Kerry and George W. Bush remain tied among all voters nationwide, with Kerry at 48% and Bush at 45%. With Ralph Nader on the ballot, Kerry is at 46%, Bush is at 45%, and Nader is at 3%. Among likely voters, Bush is at 48% and Kerry is at 47% in a two-way ballot and Bush and Kerry are tied at 47% each, with Nader at 3%, in a three-way ballot.

12. Why I will no longer tune into CNN after almost two decades of viewership
Dear Mr. Jordan,

I have been a viewer of CNN from almost the first day the network aired. I have faithfully watched CNN news programs daily during that entire time period, but no more.

I have noticed a pattern of pro-Bush bias that has been building over the past two years, but today took the cake. When CNN kept breaking away from John Kerry's speech each time he took Bush to task, I knew I had seen an ultimate transformation of CNN from responsible journalism to a Fox News imitation that can no longer be tolerated.

As of today, CNN will be blocked from availability on my cable television box.

You can thank the likes of Judy Woodruff and Wolf Blitzer for this. I will seek my news exclusively on the Internet and from foreign news services. I never thought I would live to see the day when what is passed off as journalism in the United States of America would become nothing more than a propaganda arm of those who hold power within the government.

Sincerely,

13. Eyeballs rule TV,
Writing them tells them you watch. A better letter might say,I have contacted my cable provider and have asked that this channel be deleted. Also add that the putrid programing has been blocked in this household.
If you must watch, spare me the details.
