Washington 51-44 Kerry
California 52-41 Kerry
Hawaii 51-41 Kerry
Maryland 52-43 Kerry
Massachusetts 64-27 Kerry
Vermont 50-40 Kerry
Maine 48-44 Kerry
Minnesota 47-45 Kerry
Oregon 47-45 Kerry
Rhode Island 58-30 Kerry

Plus lots of other results from Red states that you would expect.

5. Bush got 41.4% in Vermont in 2000
to Gore's 51.5%--so Kerry is doing as well as Gore was doing vs. Bush in 2000.

8. Yes, and Colorado wasn't initially considered
a first-tier battleground state because Bush's margin there in 2000 was solid.
