I have lots of games on mine. I take it with me everywhere to occupy myself when I'm waiting or bored.
I downloaded some pictures on to it to show my friends.
I used to download my email and read it while I was waiting for a meeting to begin. I have even used it to take notes at a meeting.
Some of them have internet access or cameras or phones or MP3 players built into them now.
Very versitile little office tool and more.

...none of them matched the actual truth.

The local news at 6:30 had some footage from this very speech (I recognized the girl in the avocado top right off the bat), & while none of them were quite as bored as in this photo, the entire audience had a distinctly "I'd rather be somewhere else" attitude to it.

This was immediately followed by some footage from that day's Kerry speech. While the crowd wasn't obviously cheering their approval, they were magnitudes more interested in what Kerry had to say than this group in Bush.

These little campaign appearances are always televised, so it makes perfect sense that someone would have prepared them for television...unfortunately, this someone either ran out of supplies before she got to Shrub, or after all his fidgeting before the State of the Union Address she refuses to work on him.

Now, the guy three rows up on Shrub's left is not asleep. He's really a DUer taking notes on all of the lies in Bush's speech so he can post them here later tonight.

The guy behind the avocado-sweater lady is not yawning, he's yelling "four more years" at the top of his lungs. This is the only Bush supporter in the whole building with the exception of dumb-ass's entourage. He has a Free Republic screen name and donates $500 per month to RimJob. (He's living in a van down by the river because housing kicked his ass out for nonpayment of his $400/month room and board, but FR has $6000 a year extra to spread hate and that's what's important.) The guy behind the DUer is staring straight at him...trying to remember what he looks like so he can be sure to kick the shit out of the right guy later tonight.

Now, for the young lady in the mint sweater: she's pretty fucking pissed, I'm here to tell ya. She paid $45 for a ticket to a Kabuki performance at the Student Union ticket office. She hired a cab to take her there and, in impeccable English (because not only is she a seventh-generation American citizen born right in Punxsutawney, she's never even been to Asia) asked to be taken to the Kabuki show. The freeper driving the cab said in pidgeon, "Ah so, I take you to Number One performance. This Greatest Performance in History of World." Fortunately for her, she got the driver's medallion number, called it in and now the driver is walking because they canned his ass over the radio. That still doesn't change the fact that not only has her $45 gone to waste, she has to listen to Shrub Bush mangle the English language even worse than that asshole cabdriver.
