16. It would take about a year to prep for attacking Iran with ground forces
I figure we'd need 500K minimum for an Iran invasion. Since we don't have 500K available we'd have to train them up...

9. but how does Kerry do it without a draft? . . .
he's already stated his intention to increase force levels by 40,000 as a temporary measure to meet manpower requirements of the Iraq war and our involvement in Afghanistan . . . as well as to end the backdoor draft of reservists and National Guard troops . . .

how does he intend to accomplish this? . . . with enlistments already down, and re-enlistments (particularly in the reserve and the Guard) really down, how does he increase troop strength without a draft? . . . I would think it will be difficult to even maintain current numbers, much less add 40,000 . . .

13. he gets other countries to help....???
That is the plan anyway...if we don't have 90% of OUR troops in Iraq or 90% of the cost...we can use our resources to protect our own borders and such..that is what I understand anyway...

we do have N Korea and Iran to deal with...and these are REAL weapons...its just so stupid..how can ANYONE believe * over Kerry...??? really???? it just infuriates me

14. adding 40,000 to active duty
not 40,000 NEW recruits. it'd simply be changing the current structure of the military.

10. Likely, HELL. It's a done deal if busholini is reinstalled.
I just watched the series on the insanity of the Hitler youth movement on the History Channel and it was chilling to think about similarly losing OUR kids to the "war on (some) terruh".

It's true all right. Huh.

I guess even a stopped clock is right twice a day.
