Kerry Losing Voice Just as He Finds It!! Go John!!!!!!!
I really feel sorry for John. His voice is shot! It really sounds so raspy. I hope he isn't doing any permanent damage. The timing just sucks but it also makes him seem real. GO JOHN!!!!

3. Reminescent of Clinton!
Remember how he would lose his voice? I don't think that has ever happened to chimpy. He doesn't talk much..... which is a good thing!

4. Kerry needs to take some home remedies..
Golden seal tea ..and or.. Slippery Elm, Mullein, Wild Cherry Bark, and Licorice, the main ingredients in

Those presciption things have side effects!

Speedy recovery, John Kerry!

6. saw him in west palm today
He has a cold. Not that the media would ever tell you that. One of his best lines was about 3/4 through. His voice was getting a lot better and he said something like - See, I'm really getting fired up and my voice is getting stronger.

I took that as a double meaning and a good sign. He rocked - mostly a senior crowd. I never thought I would say this as a former Dean supporter, but I truly love Kerry. I believe he will do us right.

18. Yay!
I love the guy too. It's almost kind of embarrassing, I'm staring to feel like a teenage groupie. I'm too old for this.

7. He lost it before
I think in New Hampshire.

Sometimes I have to speak for hours for weeks on end. I lose my voice too. I try not to smoke so much. I don't think JFK smokes, so I have no ideas.

11. Kerry prefers JK.
Edited on Wed Sep-22-04 05:19 PM by athena
If he wanted to use the JFK title, we would have heard about it by now. Even the mugs on his web site have "I {heart} JK" on them. I also heard from a DUer that he discourages people from calling him "JFK".

Any other candidate with those initials would have tried to take advantage of it. Shrub has already compared himself to Reagan and Churchill. :eyes:

10. Yeah. If he only spoke as much as the media covers him speaking

his voice would be fine.

13. Kerry actually sounds better with a rasy voice....may become more
likeable during debates coming up soon. I am hoping his
voice remains this raspy deep groan until debates are over.

16. It never hurt Clinton-
and when he REALLY could not speak at all, Hillary filled in at a few local events. He had some kind of special lozenges from England, maybe he'll share the tip with Kerry.

17. PERFECT OPPORTUNITY FOR EDWARDS!!!!
Thrust him into the limelight for a WEEK!

I wish he'd been the candidate, at least during the campaign part

anybody else think that he's a much more effective public persona?

CBS even did a piece on him tonight: WHERE is John Edwards?

man, that pisses me off...as if he hasn't been campaigning

pretty hard to find him, you idiots
