Warning from Bloomberg news, owned by the Republican Mayor of New York,
http://quote.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=10000103&sid=akONhVexju10&refer=usEssentially, a detailed state by state poll done by ARG (600 respondents in each state) shows Kerry with 269 electoral votes to Bush's 242. A few states are tied. Nationwide, Bush is ahead by one point. Who cares about the popular vote, if one of the tied states goes to Kerry then Kerry wins. If we stop doubting Kerry, moaning, groaning and complaining and actually GET OUT THERE AND CAMPAIGN, Kerry will be elected. It's our's to lose. If the Democratic Party makes the mistake--as it usually does of self-doubt and self-critcism, then we'll lose. But if we do what we should--register people to vote, knock on doors, make phone calls and put up signs, John Kerry will be inaugurated as the 44th President of the United States on January 20th 2004. I don't know about others here, but to me, that sounds good!
