Went to a Teresa Heinz Kerry rally in Sun City in Phoenix today, she seemed to be very tired. She defended the nurses, so proud as my daughter is thinking of going in that field. Can hardly wait to talk to my daughter tonight. Teresa talked about healthcare and education. How wonderful to hear her speak, she does not read a speach given to her, she moves around talking without notes. She talks from the heart. Love that woman! But she is tired.!!! I can understand, I'm 62, no way could I keep up with the type of life style she is living.
One of the many things she said but stood out was... I speak five languages, John speaks different languages too, we can communicate to other nations. You go Teresa! You both can communicate? Shrub are you reading this is? Oh, forgot, you can't read.
The stupid pugs were there....
Interesting there were four or six pugs that were yelling the pro-life stuff and calling Kerry a murderer. A woman who had an abortion and a senior came up and said "are you calling me a murderer?"-- the pug just turned away. I then went up to that person and said who are you calling a murderer? Bush is one, how many died in Iraq? I did this three times, each time she backed away. They can't answer questions. The thing is the pug woman who made most noise was standing there with tights with the crack of her butt showing. This annoys me. Please wear correct clothes.
The scarry thing is -- the people sounded like they were clones of Limbaugh! That is the same as when I listen to left wing radio, the right nuts, sound like they are clones of Limbaugh. Does he do something on his show to hypmotize these people? Am I missing something here? Do you hear these right wing nuts? They are clones of Limbaugh.
Then this guy shows up with a camera, really didn't think he was from a TV station as the camera did not have a logo and the pugs were talking with him. I think the camera was a pug camera. So we will probably see, thousands of neocons protest at Teresa's speech. Yea, six neocons.
I can't tell you how many people were there, many many seniors is all I can say, but the the entire rally was very disorganized. I received a phone call last night asking me to volunteer, then volunteers arrived three hours beforehand... it was a mess. There were many people who said they will no longer volunteer- it seems nothing was coordinated. This did not speak well for Arizona. I was planning to attend a Democratic center not from me but I was turned off today. The volunteers were kicked in the butt.
First of all, the rally was in Republican territory, great turnout for pug territory.
My grammar is not perfect but my spelling is great. Hope this doesn't mean I am a descendant of Shrub. God help me please.
Spelling is my asset!
