6. Already did
And it had been thoroughly Freeped by the time I got there.

If you examine the page briefly, you'll notice there's a truckload of RW tripe smeared all over it. I'm sure that's what hosed the poll from the outset. No need to worry about it, babe.

receive several hundred thousand responses. Seems strange to me, but maybe it can happen.

24. Freeps admit they cheat
They empty their caches, delete their cookies (which is what they allege DU'ers do) and vote more than once. Some poster at their site openly bragged about the practice recently. Too bad sites like MSNBC can't figure that out.

19. msnbc's pages often come up screwy on my browser
Don't know why -- I can see the poll but there's something else overlapping it and I can't see who the buttons apply to...

20. I am not believing this at all.
Something very smelly going on here. 300,000+ votes and no change? It looks like somebody has found an exploit and run with it.

25. Freepers vote multiple times!
Discussion here of Freeping and exploiting polls.
Voting "5 0r 6 times".

MSNBC and all the other cable channels love the story of the RW pajama people this week, but they really should come up with something a little more Freeper-proof or not even bother with these.
They are worthless.
