5. My moderate (leans conservative) repub friend

said the same thing today. his exact words "* is fucked." He said that the repubs he talks to are not very happy with * and that a lot of them are giving Kerry a serious look. He is voting for Kerry.

He also made a surprising observation. While it isn't news to the people here, he actually brought up that he is seeing a conservative bias in the media. If this guy sees it, then a lot more of America is seeing it than I think we even realise.

there's this gnawing fear in the back of my brain that wonders if Diebold hasn't already decided the election. God Forbid..I hope it is just paranoia.
I just wonder if that's why the polls keep reprting the race as neck & neck. Will the Landslide for Kerry never be known?

21. Kerry Can And Will Win

The closer the election gets the more people are starting to really think about whats going on. Until now reactions have been knee jerk reactions to simplistic stereotypes. Reasonable people who do not follow politics or current events closely 95% of the time are now considering how to vote in the election. The facts are against Bush, all they have to do is educate themselves just a little and think about it just a tiny bit and they will be looking for an alternative to Bush. All Kerry has to do is convince some of them that he could a better job than Bush, which shouldn't be too hard. Given Kerry's recent focus and forcefulness I think he will do quite well.

The Champagne is chilling my fridge just waiting for Bush's concession speech. I can't wait!
