1. The debates do have about as much spontaneity as
the conventions, don't they?

4. I Wonder If We Could Jam The Signal From Rove, And...
replace it with something else???

But what would be appropriate?

The Nixon Tapes? Bush sings Ashcroft? The audio of Kitty Kelly's new book?

6. writing material at the debates
I understand that bush* and Kerry will be allowed paper, pen or pencil during the debates

nothing was specifically said about crayons and coloring books -- will bush* be allowed these materials? Is it assumed that crayons/coloring books are covered under the writing material specifications?

seriously -- one of the things I will be watching is how much each candidate uses their writing materials to jot down notes...

wonder if the podiums will be set up at such an angle that you can tell if they are writing down notes or just doodling....
