So, when I pulled in the parking lot at work this morning, a car from
Kansas was sitting here with an anti-Kerry bumpersticker. I recognized it as belonging to a district rep for a conveyor manufacturer we use. Having a good supply of Kerry bumperstickers, I just went out and put one on his car. The other lady here in the office tried to get me to put it over his. I just put it beside it. Should I have put it over it?

Either way, it feels good! Ha ha ha ha!!:D

1. Good Job
I think that I would have put it over his bumper sticker.

3. Better that you put it next to the other one.
Assuming it's a good quality vinyl sticker you put on, he can easily remove it, no harm done. But had you put it over his, that would have ruined his as well. And that's the weiner tactics of the right-wing.

5. That was my thinking.
And we sure don't need to piss off a supplier.

19. Rather, he shouldn't be pissing off a customer...
Finding a new conveyor supplier would be easier for you, than finding a new good customer, for him.

IMO, business dealings should be apolitical.

6. I don't know about this...
I'd be pretty ticked off if anyone stuck something on my car, whether it could be removed or not.

10. I kind of agree with this
I'd be annoyed if someone put a bush sticker on my car.

15. Ya'll are scaring me....
Luckily, we know him pretty well. Been friends with my dad for years. He's from the same company as another guy who started sending us anti-Kerry e-mails. Since I handle all the e-mail, I answered them all with facts from the net and included links. That person has been pretty good-natured about it and jokes that he can no longer talk to me b/c I'm mad at him.

I'm hoping this guy will be good-natured about it too. If not, hopefully, he'll just be mad at me and not our company. I just work here, after all.

12. could easily fall under some of the vandalism laws
doing anything of this nature for EITHER side could easily end up with the 'vandal' receiving a fine. Not fun...but true.

8. Nah! Let him be.
Freedom of speech is for everyone, even flaming assholes. Give the sticker to someone who'll dispay it with pride.

11. Watch out for Karma
I was walking to my car after work last week, and saw that the person parked next to me had a W sticker on their car. I was just fighting an urge to take a black marker and draw an X through it when I noticed that I had left my lights on and my battery had died. Karma hit again.

16. Bad move
How would you feel if someone put a * sticker on your car? You had no right to do that...do unto others...or don't you agree?

18. Someone here did that to the other lady in our office a couple of weeks
ago. Only they put it on her dad's truck. She was getting feed for him so she had his truck at work for the day. And, someone put a * sticker on it. We are all friends, so we all laughed and she just took it off.

BTW, no one really admitted who did it.

25. In this context, this might be excusable
In general, though, I think putting a sticker on someone else's car is a bad idea. I'd be pissed if someone put a Bush sticker on my car.

20. Someone put a bumper sticker on my forehead while I was sleeping...
I didn't notice it for several days... it came off easily enough... so I didn't get pissed.

21. Dude. Don't do it.
It's not worth it. I mean it's great for a laugh but it may come back to bite you. Instead, I'd print out the following and put it on his windshield.

Take a highlighter and highlight for the president only and the date to really put things in perspective.

24. Oh My..........
I can't stand it when people criticize someone for their beliefs. You might think Bush is a Bozo and unfit for command but this man has the right to feel differently, to express it and not worry about having his property vandalized. I'd be highly pissed if someone did that to my Kerry Sticker. I'd think them narrow, intolerant and small minded.
