Has anyone seen THE OTHER windsurfing ad?
It is more juvenile and ridiculous than the one getting all the free air time from CNN. It has aired several times here in CT, and is the product of another 527. Far worse than the one all the fuss is about...it shows a cartoonish cutout of Kerry superimposed atop big-wave footage, with bright primary-colored, childish handwriting, and a surfer-chick voice over....

"Like wow, man...John Kerry likes to wind surf, dude! He likes to ride the wind wherever it takes him, man! Riding the waves may be cool, but flip flopping is..."

Need I say more?

It is soooo bad, I cannot believe it got a second airing. I think some small 527 blew their wad on this in hopes of the Cabal New Network picking it up and giving them free air time, too. It really is shameful.

3. I hope the Kerry team...

...makes one with Bush on the golf course. Remember that "Now watch this drive" business? That would be the perfect counter-attack to this windsurfing ad.

4. Pugs trying to emulate "cool" kids.
America's youth will scoff.

The worst political ad I've ever seen.

5. This morning on TV
It ran during the news, they did not cover it. My daughter watched it with a WTF look on her face (she is 9). I laughed because even she could see how stupid the add was.

that even his fat white-haired grandma could ride. Oops, sorry, that old lady was his mother, Q-Tip Bush.

Then Bush trying to eat pretzels.

Or ride a bike.

Or give a horsey a carrot.

Or speak without a bug in his ear.

The possibilities are endless.

11. I saw it last night during Countdown
I swear, we need to run one of Bush's garbled speech and his frequent accidents and say something like, "Is this a man you trust with your country?"

14. They need an ad about the idiot asking everyone to
"Watch this drive" after he was talking about paying attention to terrorism. They need an ad talking about his vacation after recieving Aug 6th PDB, quoting the lie about "seeing the first airplane" and about getting out of harm's way. They need to finish it with "what happened 30 years ago is important because what Kerry did took courage and what the * did took connections", and state he is protecting those connections today and show a picture of him kissing the Saudi guy.

15. I did too and it seemed to make Kerry look like a bad a**
They threw in footage of a boarder flipping over a wave (a 360) at the end and I thought-"the kids this is aimed at are going to see that last image and THAT is what will stick in their heads".

The idiotic language makes a joke out of their point and will probably be laughed at by younger viewers.

16. I thought it was a LOT more effective than the BushCo version...
Campier and more dismissive...

I'm glad BushCo left it up to a 527 and let CNN pickup theirs...

17. saw that one first, it was ridiculous and childish BUT very effective
so many American voters out there are dumb. and I fear that such a dumb and idiotic ad could actually play well. I'm glad Kerry came hitting back with his counter ad.
