What are security moms, are they the same as liberty moms?
"They that give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." Ben Franklin

Republicans are succeeding in making the words liberty and liberal sound disgustingly evil. Liberty is now considered no different than treason, or assisting terrorists. An American liberal is seen with the same hatred as an American terrorist. Too many people in the United States equate security with being alive. But what could life possibly be worth without basic rights?

What are we willing to die for...a flag, our President, a party, fifty plots of land, a subjected people, higher taxation, a God, a profit margin, or a culture?

What would we be leaving to those we defend..corporations, no minimum wage, no representation, no freedom to worship, no freedom of speech, no freedom of assembly, no right to vote, no education, no basic healthcare, no love, no compassion, and not even the opportunity to pursue one's happiness?

bless those who burn the flag, bless those who speak out against our dangerous leaders, bless all who peacefully assemble, bless all who would die for liberty, bless all who fight for the good of human beings over corporations, bless those who find no security in hiding, and bless all who equate freedom with peace.

3. I live in a neighborhood full of 'em, here's what they say:
I had one, a nurse, tell me that she would move her family out of this country if that's what it took to make them safe from terrorists. She said, that's my job, to keep my family safe, and if I can't do it here, then I'll take my kids somewhere else. (she's a PEDIATRIC NURSE for crying out loud, she should know that her kids have a much greater chance of being in a car accident or getting cancer than getting killed by terrorists).

Then there was another one who said, just before hurricane Ivan, "gee, with all these hurricanes, kind of makes you wonder if the terrorists haven't figured out how to make these things" !!!!!!!

George Bush and black cheney and limbaugh and faux news have scared the living daylights out of these women, who sadly, don't have the brains and curiousity to check out the facts for themselves. They are victims of brainwashing!!!!

It would be really refreshing to have Kerry pull a JFK and say "the only thing we have to fear is fear itself" (or was that fdr?).

10. Why engage our brains when someone can tell us what to think?
thinking just seems so damned whimpy..especially when voting!

What kinda security mom would blame Republicans for Bush's failure on 9/11?

7. Here's a flyer for the security moms....
http://somnamblst.tripod.com/

Scroll down and on the right there's a DRAFT 2005 FLYER you can print out for the stupid security moms. The message is: If Bush is elected he's going to pick up your children from soccer practice, give them guns and send them to Iraq. DO YOU FEEL SAFE NOW?
