Poll question: How big will Bush*'s bounce be after the debates?

I think a lot of us are very nervous about our prospects during the debates next week. I think we should be realistic in setting our expectations, even if we don't like what could happen. I'm curious to know just how much we think we'll be behind after the debates. The outlook is grim; let's steel ourselves now and we'll be less panicked and more sober when the boom is lowered on us. Take a deep breath and be realistic; this is a serious poll.

The reality is that Kerry has a very real chance of losing all three debates. He is boring and long winded, like Al Gore -- from what I can tell, he's especially uncomfortable in town hall settings. Bush has never lost a debate. It's not a joke, people.

What we need to start alerting the media that our hopes are pinned on the Edwards/Cheney debate. That should be the meme for next week. Get that out there so the media focuses more on the VP debate and less on the potential train wreck that lies in front of us.

I certainly hope we can get people to pay attention to the debate between Dick and Sen. Edwards! It will help up offset out losses we suffer from Sen. Kerry's long-winded, boring responses. I think we might be able to make up 2% of the vote lost during the Kerry debate if--and only if--Sen. Edwards has that mole removed and erases his history as a trial lawyer who is the 4th most liberal member of the Senate before the debates begin. Otherwise, Dick will harp on how Sen.
