8. Yes, Edwards picked up on that.! Said Bush seemed delighted
that the Iraqi polls said Iraq is going in a better direction, whereas we Americans don't think our country is going in a better direction.

22. I'm convinced that
this will be a major talking point for the next few days. As it should be!

It should be very entertaining watching the spin on that disastrous press conference today. Get out the popcorn. :)

5. They're talking about how Cheney lied in the 2000 debate when
Cheney said that Halliburton was successful WITHOUT the government.

BAH!--then Edwards and Franken went on to point out the BILLIONS in government money Halliburton got from various contracts with the government.

Dick Cheney = LIAR.

And mentions Bush's "now watch this drive" golf swing!

That was awesome
John Edwards can rip someone apart and make them like it. :) He's just so relaxed and sounds so rational.

Rational politicians. Now that's a change. :)

19. Edwards should NOT say "they want to keep their jobs" but say
"the American taxpayers are funding their incompetence." Or something like that. Edwards should somehow make the distinction that aWol and Cheney are being paid by Americans and not just trying to keep a job.

I just listened to Edwards say "keep their jobs" on Franken and I've seen him say it several times on TV. This wording is just to soft. And psychologically/subconsciously I think citizens can sympathize with a person trying to keep their jobs. Edwards must alter his wording to be demonic towards what aWol and Cheney are doing. "They are trying to dupe the Americans to pay for their incompentence."

Doesn't Kerry/Edwards have any psychologists working for them? For me, this is just common sense. Edwards could be much more powerful in his statement!

23. caller from florida pointing out that how awful conditions are there
in some places because of hurricanes. shes telling people down there that this is how iraqis are living every day. no electricity, no infrastructure

and al adds that car bombs are going off all around

but to be fair, al said things werent just strictly good for all iraqis with saddam, but that things have been botched so badly by bush, that it didnt need to be so awful over there.
