The commercial plays just fine, but once the real deal starts up, there isn't any sound. I've played with the mute button, my volume adjustments, etc. Nothing is working.

13. That's what scares us...

Right now, they are somewhat restrained by the concern of re-election. If they get re-elected, there will be no such concerns any more. And they'll act like the re-election is a mandate that the people have approved of their policy.

If they do win, can you check into housing in your area? My Mom is 100 percent Finnish (although she never lived there) and we have many relatives in Turku. Maybe I could fit in?
