"Inside Politics" pointing out that Bush is also flip flop
Interviewing John Harris from WaPo who wrote an article on "flip flopping" recently.

"Kerry has certainly given them ammunition.... There is a fair amount of political calculation that's gone into it."

"The president is seen as somebody who's very resolute... They tried making this accusation that he's a flip flopper also and it just didn't stick." citing steel tariffs, department of homeland security, iraq as Bush flipflopping.

"i don't know if kerry can change the impression... his priority is to change the subject."

Found it, haven't read it yet:

1. Of course Bush has flip-flopped
Edited on Thu Sep-23-04 02:48 PM by pduck
All politicians do. All adults have changed their minds and their positions at one point or another. As times change, intelligent people need to react and to change as well. What's bad is when someone refuses to change the course when it's obviously the wrong course.

I'm just glad the the Washington Post is pointing out that it's not just Kerry who changes (in fact, the Republicans have taken a great deal of liberties with Kerry's voting records).

2. To be honest
I want the driver of the bus I'm on to be able to change plans when the sign by the road says BRIDGE OUT AHEAD, rather than, "I'm gonna stay the course".

3. Inside Politics with judy Woofwoof
Today, we're going to examine the manly George W. Bush and his resolute Iraq policy and how it's playing with patriotic Americans from the Heartland. Then, we'll examine the Swift Boat controversy swirling around the Kerry campaign again - did John Kerry lie about his lying? But first, Bill Schneider on whether the polls showing President Bush with an unimaginably large lead are going to hold, or whether they're simply going to drop to single digits by Election Day.

First the day's polls: they show the President and the Swift Boat captain-of-sorts in a neck and neck race in Washington State where Kerry's lead is down to 14 points. Speaking of Washington, polls show that the President is pulling ahead of El Capitain of Swift Boat in Washington, D.C. , the predominantly African-American population therein has decided that they would trust Bush more with social programs than that guy with too much hait who licks his lips. The President's lead is now 26 points in the District of Columbia.

Now this message...
