News from my door-to-door campaign adventures (m)
I've never done campaigning before so it was new for me. And my little town is very conservative so democrats don't usually do door-to-door stuff. The city next door is more liberal and gets all the attention.

Well, in my conservative town, the street my husband and I went to, we had 9 Kerry voting households, 11 households going for Bush, and 4 undecided. And a bunch of people who weren't home.

That might not sound good unless you knew that this area is so GOP freindly that democrats don't even bother running for some local positions.

I was very pleased with our results.

3. did you have a voter list identifying party?
we can get that info in Illinois, so you know what party some one voted for in previous primary elections. Just curious if you found any Republicans going for Kerry.

4. No, it didn't tell us what party people were (m)
but three people who said they were voting for Kerry said they usually vote Republican. I don't know about the others.
