CBS is getting spammed by unsavory-types in an organized campaign to get Dan Rather fired.

Use this link to send a POSITIVE message of SUPPORT to CBS.

EVEN IF the spammers filter out your e-mail it is hugely time consuming and labor intensive for THEM to read and approve EVERY E-MAIL before it goes out. Either they will miss it, or it will really bog them down.

1. This is a good letter to send
DAN RATHER VS GEORGE BUSH
on the facts
September 22, 2004

Dan Rather
CBS News Anchor

1) given documents he thought were true
2) failed to thoroughly investigate the facts
3) reported documents to the American people as true
4) when confronted with the facts, apologized and launched an investigation
5) number of Americans dead: 0
6) should be fired as CBS News Anchor

George W. Bush
President of the United States

1) given documents he thought were true
2) failed to thoroughly investigate the facts
3) reported documents to the American people as true
4) when confronted with the facts, continued to report untruth and stonewalled an investigation
5) number of Americans dead: 1100
6) cost - $200 billion and climbing
7) should be given four more years as President of the United States

3. It's great. Don't use it.
If they find identical expressions, they'll easily filter them out. Use your own, preferably cryptic, language without anything the fascists would be looking for, like "right wing media".

2. Done.
I suppose they will filter it out, but if every DUer does what I did, they'll have pulled all their hair out by the time they're done.

Hint: make your message long and not to the point, so they really have to look for the bit slamming Rather, then they finally find a message of SUPPORT!

5. i recommend using a fake reply e-mail
so you don't get on a freeper list. I stupidly put in my junkmail address, which isn't the end of the world but wish I hadn't even given em that much.
